Friday, April 20, 2012 at 8:01AM There was a lot of great buzz after the successful September workshop of Empire the musical. Well, it keeps on going. We're getting together for a week to work on some new scenes and music.
Hoping to be back on Broadway in the Fall. "This will be our Empire!"
Tuesday, March 27, 2012 at 6:08AM Joe is honored to have been asked to perform in this years Visible Ink staged reading.
Established in 2008, Visible Ink offers patients at Memorial Sloan-Kettering the opportunity to work individually with an experienced writer, editor, or teacher on a writing project of their choice, which need not be disease related. Then, each year, Visible Ink participants are invited to submit up to two written works to be included in the staged reading, which features film, television, and Broadway actors, singers, and dancers.
As Greg Kachejian, Artistic director wrote about the amazing evening "There is a variety of material. Some is cancer-related and others not. Some very poignant and others very funny. We also incorporate music and dance, featuring Broadway singers and dancers. It is a heartwarming, amazing event."
This years staged reading is scheduled for April 16th. Ticket details as soon as I have them.
